Material Information | Agility would like to disclose that it will hand over the following sites to the Public Authority for Industry (PAI), pursuant to letters issued by the Authority:
1. Mina Abdullah 20
2. Mina Abdullah 21
3. Al Jahra Craft Area (Expansion)
4. Sulaibiya Craft Area (Expansion)
The company will hand over these sites while reserving its right to pursue legal action to claim extensions of the contracts for these sites for additional terms, in accordance with the terms of these contracts and as compensation for the company’s inability to utilize the sites for the full contract periods due to reasons attributable to the Public Authority for Industry — including delays in issuing licenses or depriving the company of utilizing Sites 20 and 21 at Mina Abdullah for different periods. Moreover, the company has fulfilled the conditions entitling it to extend these contracts for additional terms. The company maintains its right to continue existing legal cases and to initiate any necessary legal actions in order to obtain court rulings in its favor to extend these contracts. |
Impact of the material information on the financial position of the company | We can’t assess the impact of handing over the sites on the company’s financial statements, as this depends on the final outcome of the court rulings on the matter. It is noted that the combined annual revenues from these sites are estimated at approximately KD 7.2 million, and their carrying value is approximately KD 65.7 million. |
